- Be very careful that you're getting the correct film as Lenzi also did a 1970 film titled Paranoia in Italy (A Quiet Place to Kill in the US).
- There's a region-free DVD by Synergy that looks like a bootleg. This release is apparently a crappy pan-and-scan with terrible picture quality and several scenes are cut.
- Also a region-free Italian (not English friendly) DVD by DNA which also looks like a bootleg.

- There are multiple cuts of different length out there. See DVDCompare for details. The English version seems to be the longest edit.
- It's a bit of a fuck-up really. The R0 Severin DVD seems to be the French cut with extra sex scenes and reduced (10 minutes) dialogue. See Michael Mackenzie's comparison for details. Apart from that it's supposed to be an excellent transfer and comes with a soundtrack CD.
- Australian company Umbrella have also released a R4 DVD of the French cut.
- There is also a German X-Rated EuroKult DVD release but I have no idea what cut this uses but the running length is 94 minutes.

A Quiet Place to Kill (1970)
AKA: Paranoia, A Beautiful Place to Kill; Un tranquilo lugar para matarDirector: Umberto Lenzi
- This is the Lenzi film that frequently gets confused with his 1969 film Orgasmo (titled Paranoia in the US), so be careful.
- I believe all releases of this film are now OOP, can be pretty expensive and are not English friendly.
- I'm going to go for the Italian Millennium Storm DVD as the screen caps show a slightly warmer picture and is region-free.
- The R2 Japanese Trash Mountain DVD has a few non-related trailers as extras.
- There is a US DVD by CultVideo/Video Dimensions on amazon.com. Looks like a boot and has an Italian soundtrack and English subs.

- The English friendly R0 DVD from Eyecatcher wins.
- The Italian DVD from Medusa is not English friendly.
- The Spanish R2 DVD from Manga Films does have an English soundtrack but is cut quite heavily and apparently has an audio problem.
- Arrow, in conjunction with Camera Obscura, will be releasing a Blu-Ray/DVD on 22nd August 2016 (23rd August 2016 in the US). As yet no date has been set for the Camera Obscura release, although I would imagine it would be the same (or near enough) as the Arrow set. Pre-orders are available from the Arrow site and should also be on Amazon soon. Once released it will probably take over as the recommended release.

- I think both the Shameless and New Entertainment World DVD use the same transfer but I'm not sure. Note that the transfer is compiled from more than one source and some scenes are letterboxed as a result.
- I'm going with the Shameless DVD as it's region-free and has English subs for the Italian soundtrack.
- The New Entertainment World DVD does have an alternate Italian soundtrack but has no English subs.

- Of the two releases I found it looks like they both use the same source. Apparently the Italian Alan Young DVD has a slightly better picture quality but...
- I'm giving this one to Shameless because it has a nude scene that's missing from the Italian DVD and it has an English soundtrack.
